BodyFX Body Contouring

What is BodyFX?

BodyFX is a revolutionary, clinically proven, non-invasive radio-frequency (RF) body contouring procedure to treat troublesome areas of fatty tissue (such as cellulite) while firming the overlying skin at the same time.

The vacuum chamber of BodyFX pre-heats the tissues which is then followed by short burst of energy.  Together, this disrupts the cell wall of the fat cells by selectively and permanently destroying larger fat cells while shrinking smaller ones.  The fat inside the cells is liquified and absorbed by the lymphatic system and slowly excreted out of the body.   Built-in sensors provide real-time temperature monitoring and control with millisecond termination, essentially eliminating thermal injury risks and damage for optimal treatments. The result is a long lasting circumferential reduction in fat with improvement in the appearance of cellulite with tighter, firmer overlying tissues.  Clinical studies showed 30% of the fat cells are destroyed with 13.7% new collagen formation in the treated tissues.

There is minimal downtime associated with BodyFX procedures and minimal discomfort during the treatments.  Treatments typically take approximately 30 minutes per area to complete.  A treatment area is approximately 6″ by 6″ and heat to that area is maintained for 10 minutes to properly shrink and destroy the underlying fat cells.  For optimal results 6-8 treatments are required and are performed once per week.  Final results of this treatment may be seen as soon as 3-6 months after the last treatment, though improvements to the texture may be seen in as soon as two to three treatments.  Maintenance treatments are performed approximately once per quarter if desired but are not mandatory.  Results can last up to two years with the proper lifestyle maintenance.

Typical areas for BodyFX treatment are the outer thighs (saddlebags), inner thighs,  back or front of thighs, abdomen, flanks (muffin top), buttocks, upper back and back of the upper arms.

BodyFX can be used as an adjunct to or as an alternative to liposuction on many areas of the body.  BodyFX may also be combined with Plus skin tightening procedures to further tighten and improve the appearance of the overlying tissues.
